Hello and welcome to my portfolio page. I will use this page to showcase the work I have done and the learning I have achieved during English 1C/2C.




First, I want to list some learning goals that I set for myself and then explain how I met these learning goals:

  • List at least 5 learning goals that you set for yourself during the Summer and explain how you met each goal.

  1. Have a great start in summer school!!!
  2. Write in proper english for a better understanding.
  3. I will maintain a "B" average until summer school ends.
  4. I will go to summer school every day of session 2.


Next, I want to explain how one of our reading strategies works. Below I will explain how to Chart a Text. Then, I will give an example of how I charted a non-fiction text.

How to Chart a Text:

  1. First, find a shift in the article.
  2. Next, state what the author says in the paragraphs.
  3. After that, state what the author is trying to do in the paragraphs.
  4. Finally, write the number of paragraphs in the center.
